About Event

What truly drives progress in STEM?

It's rarely a genius working in isolation. It's the communities built around shared curiosity, hard-won trust, and a collective hunger to solve what seems unsolvable.

This social brings together voices from across the STEM landscape for honest, energising, and at times uncomfortable conversations about the role community plays in shaping careers, accelerating discovery, and determining who gets to be part of the story at all.

Expect discussions about the barriers that still hold too many people back. From gatekeeping and representation gaps to the competitive cultures that quietly erode belonging. You can also expect stories of what's working: open-source breakthroughs, grassroots movements, and communities that have rewritten what collaboration can look like in the digital age.

Meet our panel:
Kelvin Miles
Community Manager, BPM Product Community

Chibby Ebhogiaye
Senior Director, Head of Customer Strategy, Faro

Preeti Chattha

Clive Adjetey Sowa

Moderated by Steven Fuller, Fonder of RACE in STEM.

Whether you're just finding your footing in STEM, leading a team, or building spaces for the next generation, this panel will challenge you to think differently about the communities you're part of and the ones you have the power to shape.

Come ready to listen, reflect, and leave with something worth acting on.
