About Event

Your students can build with AI
Solving real-world problems with AI, safely.

Most students meet AI by asking a question and getting an answer. In Lisa Haines's classroom, students use AI to build things: a math-facts app, a project for a local manufacturing event, tools they invented because they saw a problem worth solving.

Join Lisa, a STEM educator at Bartholomew Consolidated Schools in Columbus, Indiana, who teaches about 450 students and runs her district's robotics program. She'll show what it looks like when students describe an idea, watch AI turn it into something that works, then test it and improve it. Hear it in her words, with student project videos.

You'll leave with:

  • A clear picture of what "vibe coding" looks like in a real classroom

  • The skills students practice while building: stating a problem clearly, breaking it into steps, testing, revising, and judging whether the result is right

  • How teachers stay in the loop, with visibility into every prompt students write

  • Where to start, with free access for educators
