AI in Healthcare Hackathon / Leeds AI Society
Medics and engineers in the same room for 24 hours, building something that solves a real clinical problem.
52 hackers. 13 teams. One weekend at Helix.
Leeds AI Society's AI in Healthcare Hackathon pairs medical students with computer scientists and engineers. Medics bring the problem and the clinical judgement. Builders bring the code. You'll hear from a healthcare researcher on real clinical workflows, data and safety, work through the night with mentors on hand, then pitch to judges who work in healthcare.
WHO IT'S FOR Medicine, Dentistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Chemistry and related courses. All years. You do not need prior hackathon experience.
TEAMS Teams are four people, ideally one medical or healthcare student plus three builders. Apply as a complete four, apply with a partial team, or apply on your own and we'll place you on the morning.
