As part of HER DAY at Thank You Mama, this evening public talk explores the stories of influential women artists, architects and designers of the 20th and 21st centuries - and how they reshaped cultural history in fields long dominated by men.
The lecture continues the spirit of HER DAY - a space built around women`s support, equality and the freedom to choose one’s own path. It speaks about women who followed their own voices and reminds us that a woman can be, create and become whatever she chooses - in art and beyond.
About the speaker
Anastasia Kuznetsova is an artist and educator whose interest in art history grew from her own artistic practice. While searching for answers about her path in painting, she turned to artists’ biographies and discovered a deep connection through the stories of women in art — their honesty, strength and creative energy, which became the foundation of her research and lectures today.
