Taking action for nature: a potential for peace

​Hosted by Soka Gakkai International (SGI) at the Faith Hub, Blue Zone, CBD COP17 (Yerevan, Armenia).

​What if taking action for nature entailed more than we imagined? What if caring for nature could help build a peaceful future? This event will explore the potential for peace that lies within actions for nature at the local level, bringing together youth speakers from different backgrounds, sharing their lived experiences and expertise.

​The conversation will bridge COP16 and COP17 thematics, and further address biodiversity loss and climate change through a transformative change lens, seeking to bring forth hope and inspire action in the people who attend.
