NobleCamps Coffee Chats - AI and Non-Profits
Artificial intelligence is creating new ways for non-profit organizations to expand their impact, improve access to learning and support the communities they serve.
In this session, we will explore how AI can be used in education within children’s homes, including the opportunities it creates for young people and the practical considerations involved in introducing new technologies in non-profit environments.
Michael Perry-Clemons is the Founder of YouMeWe NPO, a Tokyo-based organization dedicated to empowering children and young people in institutional care through education, digital skills, mentorship and support as they prepare for independent adulthood.
His involvement with children’s homes in Japan began in 2007, and he later founded YouMeWe in 2018. Today, the organization supports young people through initiatives including coding and digital literacy, English learning, scholarships, career support and ongoing mentoring.
Drawing on years of experience across both the corporate and non-profit sectors, Michael brings a practical perspective on how technology can create opportunities, strengthen education and help young people build greater confidence and independence.
