Climate Cafe by Earth Stewards NYC
This Climate Cafe will take place in a private conference room at the Gerritsen Beach Public Library and is designed as a gentle, supportive space for connection and reflection. We’ll begin with brief introductions and a grounding meditation, followed by open conversation where participants are invited to share thoughts and feelings related to climate anxiety, grief, hope, or uncertainty at whatever level feels comfortable.
The gathering will be led by Jade Banham, founder of Earth Stewards NYC, an educator, steward, and community organizer. Coffee, tea, and light snacks will be provided at no cost.
This is not a lecture or debate, but a welcoming space rooted in listening, care, creativity, and community. Come as you are, connect with others, and leave feeling supported, grounded, and inspired to stay engaged with local climate care in Southern Brooklyn.
