Rosemary Richings is a writer, editor, and public speaker specializing in neurodiversity. She is the author of two books: Stumbling Through Space and Time: Living Life With Dyspraxia, and the forthcoming Studying With Dyspraxia. Her writing has been featured in Travel + Leisure, Broken Pencil Magazine, Happiful Magazine, and numerous other websites.
Rosemary will give a presentation on navigating school and the workforce as a neurodivergent person.
In Stumbling Through Space and Time: Living Life With Dyspraxia, Rosemary shares her experience of growing up dyspraxic, and how it impacts her sense of space, time and co-ordination. Diagnosed with DCD at the age of four, Rosemary shares her insights and experience dealing with challenges, from coping with bullies in school to choosing a dyspraxia-friendly university, pursuing self-employment and travelling abroad.
In Studying with Dyspraxia, Rosemary helps readers to understand what to expect at university and gives support in adjusting to a more independent lifestyle. Crucially, the book helps students to implement study strategies that really work.
