Intra-OIC trade currently faces significant structural frictions, resulting in an integration ceiling where member countries conduct only 20% of their total trade within the block. To address these challenges, the Integrated Digital Islamic Trade Facilitation Framework (IDITFF) offers a comprehensive digital solution designed to streamline workflows, mitigate risks, and enhance financial inclusion across OIC economies.
To address these issues, the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, the official organization responsible for promoting Türkiye’s investment opportunities, and B57+ Business Leaders Network are organizing a pre-summit side-event with the theme of “Operationalizing an Integrated Digital Islamic Trade Facilitation Framework to Supercharge Intra-OIC Trade & Investment”.
This half-day pre-summit event at the Istanbul Financial Center (IFC) will convene key leaders, policymakers, trade experts, and business executives to introduce the operational details of the IDITFF and discuss cross-border implementation strategies across major trading hubs with an initial focus on Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
