Autumn Beaded Embroidery Workshop
Welcome the changing season with a cosy, creative afternoon of beading and embroidery.
Led by Gigi Volrath, founder of Amsterdam Embroidery Studio, this intimate workshop is an invitation to slow down, get creative, and celebrate the beauty of autumn.
Inspired by the season’s rich colours and rituals, you might find yourself stitching golden leaves, marigolds, pumpkins, sprigs of blackberries, celestial skies, the harvest moon — or perhaps something with a little Halloween magic.
You’ll be introduced to a range of beading and embroidery techniques, professional tips and be guided through the process of translating your own ideas into a design on fabric. There’s no need to be an experienced embroiderer — simply bring your ideas and curiosity, and we’ll guide you from there.
If you’ve joined one of our hand-embroidered bandana workshops before, this is also a wonderful opportunity to build on your previous piece and add a new seasonal detail.
By the end of the afternoon, you’ll have created a unique, personalised piece to keep for yourself or give as a thoughtful handmade gift.

An introduction to a selection of beading and embroidery stitches and techniques
A beautiful selection of fabrics, threads and beads to choose from
Use of an embroidery hoop and all necessary tools and materials
2.5 hours of mindful stitching, creativity and relaxed conversation

Places for these workshops are intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate and allow plenty of individual guidance. We recommend booking early, as spaces tend to fill quickly.
Cancellations made within one week of the event are non-refundable.
