​Hoi and welcome to "Hack Apertus"!

​Join us for a live introduction to one of the "Hack Apertus" challenges, brought by OST, Ostschweizer Fachhochschule.

​Swiss direct democracy asks citizens to vote on complex issues several times a year, amid a flood of campaign claims. This challenge is about building an Apertus-powered fact-checking engine that checks political claims against the official Swiss voting booklets as the primary source of truth.

• ​a walkthrough of the challenge and dataset,

• ​what a strong submission looks like

• ​and a live Q&A with the challenge provider.
