About Event

What would an AI agent have to prove before you’d let it act on its own?

AI agents can already book meetings, write and run code, reply to emails and move money around for you. Most of us still want to check their work first. But if you have to check everything, what’s the point? So when would you actually let go? After a month with no mistakes? If it could explain every decision it made? If there was someone to hold responsible when it got something wrong? And does your answer change if it’s your inbox, your bank account or a hospital ward?

Campus Conversations is a small round-table series at LSE: ten students from ten backgrounds, one question, one hour. You don't have to prepare anything, just bring your take. If you are remotely interested in the question, even if you don't know how much it applies to you, apply. Different perpectives from people with different lived experiences is what makes these conversations really interesting.

Who should apply: any LSE student, whether you use AI agents every day or haven’t tried one yet. We’re aiming for a real mix of fields, so tell us where you’re coming from.

How it works: apply below by answering a few quick questions. There are only ten seats, and we’ll confirm by email if you get a seat.

🗓 Tuesday 17 November, 5–6pm
📍 Location will be shared once you are accepted

We will also have drinks and snacks!

Co-hosted by the LSE SU AI Society, and myself (Alina), the Claude Campus Ambassador at LSE.

This event is supported by Anthropic, the company that makes Claude.
