SHC: Toxic Housing 101 Attorney Workshop
Toxic Housing 101 is a one-day practical training workshop for plaintiff-side lawyers who want to take mold and toxic housing cases — and do them right.
Led by experienced Safe Housing Collaborative lawyers, the day walks through every stage of a case from intake through trial. Bring your laptop. Materials go to a shared drive as we go. You leave with forms, templates, checklists, and a litigation roadmap you can use immediately.
Topics include intake and case screening, building your theory of liability and causation, finding and working with construction, environmental, and medical experts, discovery strategy and deposition hot spots, motions practice, witness preparation and rehabilitation, mediation strategy, and how to build case value.
These cases are valuable. Settlements run $200K to $2M. Families in your state need lawyers who can take them.
Space is limited. This event is open to plaintiff-side lawyers only. Attendees agree that materials will not be used to assist civil defense work. Full CLE Credit
