Agents League London — Day Zero
50 builders. 90 minutes to code an AI agent. Then we watch them play.
You're seeing this before we announce anything publicly.
We're running the very first Agents League pilot — a live competition where you build an AI agent that plays chess, poker, or Catan, and watch it compete on screen in real time. This is the first time we're running the format, the tech, the whole thing. Before it goes global, we want 50 sharp builders in a room to help us make it great.
HOW IT WORKS
The rules have been modified — no off-the-shelf solution will save you. You have 90 minutes to build an agent from scratch. Then every agent plays every other agent, live on the big screen. It's weirdly intense.
The best agent wins.
THE AFTERNOON Saturday 17 May · 11am–4pm · London Date subject to change — we'll notify all attendees if it moves.
11:00 — Doors open. Coffee. Meet the others.
12:00 — Rules revealed. Build phase starts. Clock's ticking.
13:30 — Agents submitted. Qualifiers run.
14:00 — Matches live on screen. Commentary. Chaos.
5:00 — Winner crowned. Mingling.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Teams of 1–2. You don't need to be an ML researcher — you need to think fast, code fast, and have opinions about game strategy. We're reviewing every application and keeping this small on purpose.
WHAT TO BRING
Your laptop. We handle the game engine, the rules, and the compute.
This is invite-only and capped at 50. Apply below — if you're selected, we'll confirm your spot personally.
Season 1 launches later this year. This is where it starts.
