Anat challenges many of the traditional assumptions about networking. Effective networking is not about collecting business cards, adding hundreds of LinkedIn connections, or walking into a room focused on what you can get from other people. It is about relationships, trust, visibility, and the way people experience and remember you.
A strong network also begins with clarity. If your message about who you are, what you do, and the value you bring is unclear, it becomes much harder for others to remember you, understand where you fit, or think of you when an opportunity arises.
Networking is not something you either naturally know how to do or you do not. It is a skill, and like any skill, it can be learned, practiced, and improved. Strong networking can increase visibility, expand access to people and opportunities, support career advancement, create introductions and referrals, and build connections that become valuable throughout a career.
During this interactive workshop, participants will examine the common mistakes people make before, during, and after networking interactions and consider why some connections develop into meaningful professional relationships while others quickly disappear. The workshop will challenge participants to look differently at their own networking habits, assumptions, behaviors, and messaging, and to think more intentionally about the connections they are building and the impression they are creating.
Participants will leave with greater awareness of what effective networking really means, why it matters, the importance of having a clear and memorable message, and how their current approach may be influencing their visibility, connections, and professional opportunities.

Anat Kornberg is an Executive and Leadership Coach who works with leaders, executives, and high potential professionals to strengthen the skills that shape how they are seen, heard, and experienced by others.
