SBC Visits Coals!
Hello Readers!
We are happy to announce our next SBC meeting!
SBC Norwalk will be gathering at Coals at 9 Wall Street, Norwalk CT on Tuesday August 25th! There is street parking available on Wall Street and the Yankee Doodle Garage on Burnell Blvd.
This will be a relaxed evening filled with good books, great food, and great company!
We can only accommodate 60 people at this event, so be sure to register in advance in Luma.
Here’s what to expect:
Meeting Flow:
6:00 - 6:30 PM: Arrive, settle in, and grab a drink or snack (and maybe say hi to a new face or two!).
6:30 - 7:30 PM: Our famous quiet reading time. Bring your current read or discover something new—we’ll have book suggestions ready if you’re looking for inspiration. Don't forget those headphones if you’re listening to an audiobook!
7:30 - 8:00 PM: Time to chat! Whether it’s about the book you’re loving, a new recommendation, or just swapping fun stories, this is the time to share.
Our Mobile Library will be there, so if you’ve got books you’re ready to pass on or swap, bring them along. It's all about sharing the love of reading—one book at a time.
