AI + Small Business + Future Workforce Readiness
Tuesday, October 20, 2026 | 5:00–9:00 PM
Sacramento Tech Week 2026
AI is changing how businesses operate, how people work, and what the next generation will need to know.
Certify • Automate • Win (CAW) is a hands-on experience designed to help Sacramento-area small businesses, entrepreneurs, and young people move from hearing about AI and opportunity to actually preparing for it.
This is not a sit-and-listen conference.
Participants will work alongside business, procurement, AI, financial-readiness, education, and community professionals to better understand where they are today—and what they can do next.
FOR SMALL BUSINESSES & ENTREPRENEURS
CERTIFY
Understand business certification, government procurement, capability statements, and how to better position your business for contracting opportunities.
AUTOMATE
Learn practical ways AI can help increase your business capacity, improve workflows, reduce repetitive work, and help you operate more effectively.
WIN
Turn what you learn into action. Work on practical business assets, identify your next steps, and connect with resources that can help you continue moving forward.
NEXTGEN CAW
CAW isn’t only about preparing today’s businesses.
It’s also about preparing the next generation.
NextGen CAW introduces young people to practical AI literacy, emerging technology, real-world applications of AI, and the skills increasingly shaping education and the future workforce.
Young participants will explore AI as something they can learn to understand, question, build with, and potentially use in their future education and careers.
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE
CAW brings together:
Small-business owners and entrepreneurs
Youth and families
AI and technology professionals
Educators and workforce-development leaders
Procurement and certification professionals
Financial-readiness resources
Community and economic-development partners
The goal is simple:
Don’t just learn about opportunity. Build toward it.
Whether you’re trying to strengthen a business, understand government contracting, use AI more effectively, or prepare a young person for what’s coming next, CAW is designed to give you a practical place to start.
