Circular Solutions for Agrifood - co-creation event
We are delighted to invite you to the Circular Voices Workshop on 3 December, an interactive event dedicated to exploring how circular practices can shape the future of agriculture and create meaningful climate, economic, and social impact.
This workshop is part of the Circular Voices: From the Balkans to Andalusia – Climate-Smart Farming Narratives initiative by Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases (GRA) and Circular Food Systems Network, which brings together farmers, innovators, advisors, and researchers to uncover the real stories, challenges, and opportunities behind circularity in agriculture.
The event will begin at 14:00 with an introduction from Dilyana Kutsarova (AgriVentures). She will be followed by Denimir Dimitrov from Zero Wave—a company dedicated to turning waste into valuable resources by producing delicious upcycled crackers, all-purpose baking flour, and 100% biodegradable plates and cutlery made from by-products. Denimir will open the session with key insights on circular agrifood systems and practical examples from Zero Wave’s work.
At 14:30, we move into the interactive workshop, where you will explore real circular practices, identify barriers and opportunities, and discuss the trade-offs farmers and businesses face through guided group activities.
After a short coffee break at 16:30, we continue with the second part of the workshop until 17:45. The event will conclude with a light networking reception at 18:00.
Selected participants will have the opportunity to be spotlighted in the project’s official toolkit and featured in our short storytelling videos—highlighting their ideas, practices, and contributions as leading examples of circular innovation.
Join us for a focused and inspiring afternoon dedicated to co-creating practical stories and solutions for a more circular and climate-smart agricultural future.
