Forest Workshop evening at Impact HUB Tokyo: UX Designer (Session 3/3)
How good are you as a UX designer, and which skills should you learn next? Find out over three Wednesday evenings at Impact HUB Tokyo, building a complete picture of the UX Designer profession together. Free.
How IMPACTFUL you can become depends heavily on how good you are at what you do. And that's not always easy to gauge:
How good are you at your job?
Which of your skills need more work?
Which skills are you missing (especially the new ones, you know what we're talking about)?
Which skills are you already good enough at?
How does it all tie into a single, clear picture of your career progress?
That's why we're running a Forest Workshop in partnership with Impact HUB Tokyo (more about the Forest Workshop here: https://skillforests.com/community/events/forest-workshop/). It will help you discover:
Which skills matter in today's shifting market
Which skills you need to stay impactful and relevant
What you need to learn to get into this job, or to get better at it
And in what order to learn it, for maximum efficiency
How does the workshop run?
It's a series of three evening sessions that move from tasks, to skills, to trees, gradually growing a forest-like picture of all the skills and knowledge a specific role needs. You can join one, two or all three. In each session we uncover and refine what we're working on until everyone in the room is happy with the result. Tasks are the foundation for skills, and skills are the foundation for trees. You can learn more about the method here: https://docs.skillforests.com/books/skillforests-method-guide
Which profession?
The community has spoken: we're laying out the UX Designer profession. The result will be published on professions.skillforests.com. Whether you're a junior or senior designer, a researcher, someone who designs with AI tools, or moving into UX from another field, your experience belongs in the room.
