ParyavaranMitra, ActionAid & Nadhi–SheforClimate invite you to a Consultation on Climate & Gender, with reference to Gujarat Government’s Nari Gaurav Niti–2024.
The consultation will focus on the policy’s action points related to:
Equal participation of women and men in environmental public hearings and decision-making
Women’s participation in water resources management and social audits
Women’s involvement in waste management
Women-led environmental innovations and initiatives
Women’s safety during natural and man-made calamities
Environmental education through Prakriti Ni Pathshala
Women’s participation in kitchen gardens and non-timber forest products
Gender inclusion in Climate Smart Villages / Eco-Friendly Villages
