About Event

Clinical research excluded women as standard practice until 1993. Femtech founders are still living with the fallout: no baseline data for their focus area, datasets too expensive to license, tools built and tested on male physiology as default.

To understand exactly where this is hitting hardest, we've launched the Femtech Founder Data Needs Survey, asking founders and businesses across the ecosystem about the data challenges they're facing right now: access, bias, anonymisation, compliance, and data sharing.

This session brings those findings into the room. We'll look at the roadblocks founders raised in the survey, the support that's available to address them, and open it up for discussion with the people building in this space.

Format: an hour and a half, starting with networking before a set of short presentations and discussions

Who it's for: femtech founders, data specialists, compliance and legal experts and research partners.
