​On 7 October, Rare Founders and the Embassy of Belgium in London are hosting a cross-border demo day. We’re selecting 20–30 tech startups from the UK and Belgium at pre-seed and seed stage to pitch in front of investors.

​👉 How it works:

• ​Deadline to apply: 5 September

• ​Submit a 1–2 min video + your pitch deck

• ​Applications reviewed by investors: 8–12 September

• ​Pitching companies announced: 15 September

• ​Selected founders will also be invited to interviews and training sessions ahead of the event

• ​If you are selected to pitch, your ticket cost will be refunded

• ​All founders must apply to pitch. Buying a ticket does not guarantee a pitching slot.

• ​This is not a pay-to-pitch competition — all applications go through the same review process.

​🚀 What to Expect

​Pitching Sessions:

• ​20–30 startups from Belgium (Flanders & Brussels) and the UK

• ​Pre-seed and seed-stage tech companies

• ​Three pitching slots during the afternoon

​Networking & Private Meetings:

• ​Informal networking and coffee breaks

• ​One-on-one investor meetings

• ​VIP area for private discussions

​Evening Social:

• ​From 18:00, doors open for evening guests

• ​Drinks, networking, and a DJ until 22:00

• ​All registrations are subject to approval.

• ​We have very limited capacity and will be reviewing every attendee to keep the right balance of founders, investors, and operators.

• ​Your payment will only be processed once you’re approved.

• ​If not approved, nothing will be charged.
