Event Overview： 「シリコンアレー」は、ニューヨーク市マンハッタン南部からブルックリンに広がるスタートアップやテクノロジー企業が集積するエリアを指し、世界のスタートアップ都市ランキングではシリコンバレーに次ぐ第2位に位置付けられています。New York Silicon Alley Meetupは、NYのスタートアップ・イノベーション最新動向を発信し、現地エコシステムのキーパーソンと交流できるイベントとして2016年にスタートし、今回で13回目を迎えます。
今回は、ニューヨークにおけるAI産業の最新動向をテーマに、現地エコシステムに精通するゲストを招き、最前線の情報をお届けします。
"Silicon Alley" refers to the cluster of startups and tech companies spanning from lower Manhattan to Brooklyn, ranked as the world's #2 startup city after Silicon Valley. The New York Silicon Alley Meetup has been connecting Japan with NYC's innovation ecosystem since 2016, and this marks our 13th edition.
This time, we'll focus on the latest AI trends emerging from New York's startup scene, featuring guests deeply embedded in the local ecosystem.

▪️Murat Aktihanoglu, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Remarkable Ventures
Murat Aktihanogluは、Remarkable VenturesおよびRemarkable Ventures Climateの共同創業者兼マネージングパートナー。2011年からベンチャーキャピタリストとして活動し、これまでに375社以上のアーリーステージ・スタートアップに投資。投資先の時価総額の合計は100億ドルを超える。
また、ニューヨークで最も活発なスタートアップコミュニティの一つであるEntrepreneurs Roundtableの創設者でもあり、連続起業家・テクノロジストとしても活動。世界各地のテックカンファレンスに多数登壇し、U.S.-Japan Councilのメンバーも務める。
Murat Aktihanoglu is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Remarkable Ventures and Remarkable Ventures Climate. A venture capitalist since 2011, he has invested in more than 375 early-stage startups with a combined market cap exceeding $10B.
He is also the founder of Entrepreneurs Roundtable, one of New York City’s most active startup communities, and a serial entrepreneur and technologist. Murat is a frequent speaker at global tech conferences and serves on the U.S.-Japan Council.
▪️Nobu Iguchi, Managing Partner at Great Wave Ventures
Nobuは、ニューヨーク拠点のアーリーステージVCであるGreat Wave Venturesのマネージングパートナー。2020年以降、同社を通じて50社以上のスタートアップへの投資を主導してきた。
Bridgewater Associatesにてシニア投資プロフェッショナルを務めた後、Great Waveを創業。キャリア初期はMcKinsey & Companyでコンサルタントとして勤務し、その後Amazonで倉庫オペレーションのマネジメントを担った。
Nobu is Managing Partner at Great Wave Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm where he has led investments in more than 50 startups since 2020 out of its New York City office. Before founding Great Wave, he was a senior investment professional at Bridgewater Associates, then the world’s largest hedge fund. Nobu began his career at McKinsey & Company and later managed warehouse operations at Amazon.
