​Event Overview： 「シリコンアレー」は、ニューヨーク市マンハッタン南部からブルックリンに広がるスタートアップやテクノロジー企業が集積するエリアを指し、世界のスタートアップ都市ランキングではシリコンバレーに次ぐ第2位に位置付けられています。New York Silicon Alley Meetupは、NYのスタートアップ・イノベーション最新動向を発信し、現地エコシステムのキーパーソンと交流できるイベントとして2016年にスタートし、今回で13回目を迎えます。

​今回は、ニューヨークにおけるAI産業の最新動向をテーマに、現地エコシステムに精通するゲストを招き、最前線の情報をお届けします。

​"Silicon Alley" refers to the cluster of startups and tech companies spanning from lower Manhattan to Brooklyn, ranked as the world's #2 startup city after Silicon Valley. The New York Silicon Alley Meetup has been connecting Japan with NYC's innovation ecosystem since 2016, and this marks our 13th edition.

​This time, we'll focus on the latest AI trends emerging from New York's startup scene, featuring guests deeply embedded in the local ecosystem.

​▪️Nobu Iguchi, Managing Partner at Great Wave Ventures

​Nobuは、ニューヨーク拠点のアーリーステージVCであるGreat Wave Venturesのマネージングパートナー。2020年以降、同社を通じて50社以上のスタートアップへの投資を主導してきた。

​Bridgewater Associatesにてシニア投資プロフェッショナルを務めた後、Great Waveを創業。キャリア初期はMcKinsey & Companyでコンサルタントとして勤務し、その後Amazonで倉庫オペレーションのマネジメントを担った。

​Nobu is Managing Partner at Great Wave Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm where he has led investments in more than 50 startups since 2020 out of its New York City office. Before founding Great Wave, he was a senior investment professional at Bridgewater Associates, then the world’s largest hedge fund. Nobu began his career at McKinsey & Company and later managed warehouse operations at Amazon. 

▪️茂見 憲治郎 氏 / Kenjiro Shigemi, Founder & CEO, CosBE Inc.

茂見 氏（Kenjiro Shigemi）は、CosBE Inc. Founder & CEO。米国に本社を置くAIトランスフォーメーション企業として、日本・米国・インド・中国などに在籍する国際チームとともに、中堅・中小企業やスタートアップのAIを活用した経営変革を支援している。デロイト トーマツ グループにて約18年間、延べ約1,000人の企業経営者・起業家の意思決定に伴走し、経営戦略、成長戦略、海外展開、新規事業開発を支援。現Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Supportの立ち上げにも関与し、2016年には最年少でパートナーに就任。その後、スタートアップ企業の代表取締役社長として、事業成長、グローバル展開、資金調達、組織拡大を主導した。現在はCosBEにて、生成AI・LLM・RAGに加え、画像解析、3D解析、数理最適化、機械学習、エッジAI、ローカルLLMなど幅広いAI技術を活用し、AI戦略の策定から開発・実装までを一気通貫で支援している。本パネルでは、日本企業のAI活用の現場と、米国を含むグローバルなAI事業化の潮流をつなぐ視点から、日米のAI環境の違い、AIビジネスの事業化・投資可能性、AI活用における実務上の課題について議論する。

​Kenjiro Shigemi is the Founder & CEO of CosBE Inc., a U.S.-headquartered AI transformation company. Along with a global team based in Japan, the U.S., India, and China, he supports mid-sized companies and startups in their management transformation using AI. Over 18 years at Deloitte Tohmatsu Group, he advised more than 1,000 business leaders and entrepreneurs on strategy, global expansion, and new business development. He was involved in the launch of Deloitte Tohmatsu Venture Support and became the youngest Partner in 2016. Later, as CEO of a startup, he led its business growth, global expansion, fundraising, and organizational scaling. At CosBE, he provides end-to-end support from AI strategy formulation to implementation, utilizing a wide range of technologies including Generative AI, LLM, RAG, image analysis, 3D analysis, mathematical optimization, machine learning, edge AI, and local LLM. In this panel, he will discuss the differences between the Japanese and U.S. AI environments, the potential for commercialization and investment, and practical challenges in AI implementation from a perspective that bridges Japanese field operations with global AI business trends.

​▪️ケビン・二宮 氏 / Kevin M. Ninomiya, Co-Founder & CEO, ShibuLA Ventures

ケビン・二宮 氏（Kevin M. Ninomiya）は、ShibuLA Venturesの共同創業者兼CEO。ニューヨークおよびロサンゼルスを拠点に、日本と海外の資本市場をつなぐクロスボーダー投資・アドバイザリー事業を展開しています。工学および知的財産分野でのバックグラウンドに加え、米国弁護士資格を有し、事業開発やプラットフォーム構築の経験を活かしながら、M&AやCFOアドバイザリー領域において実務支援を行っています。日本企業に対しては、資金調達や成長戦略、海外展開（クロスボーダーM&A等）に関する支援を提供するとともに、日本の投資家に対しては、スタートアップから米国不動産まで幅広い投資機会へのアクセスをサポートしています。

​Kevin M. Ninomiya is the Co-Founder and CEO of ShibuLA Ventures, a cross-border investment and advisory platform connecting Japan with global capital markets. Based in New York and Los Angeles, he brings a background in engineering, intellectual property, and platform business development, and is a U.S.-qualified lawyer. He advises Japanese companies on fundraising, strategic growth, and global expansion, including cross-border transactions such as M&A, while also helping Japanese investors access high-quality opportunities ranging from venture-backed startups to U.S. real estate.
