"I Don't Have Time to Write A Book"
When Is It Time to Write Your Book?
You don't need more time. You need to know whether this is the time.
You’ve probably said it before:
“I want to write a book someday.”
Maybe you even have the idea.
Maybe you have pages of notes.
Maybe you’ve been carrying the story around for years.
But then life happens.
Your business needs you. Your career needs you. Your family needs you. And suddenly “when I have more time” becomes another year.
And maybe the deeper concern is:
“Even if I make the time, will I actually follow through?”
I hear this a lot.
So I'm not going to tell you to magically find another five hours a week or wait until your life becomes less full.
Instead, we're going to ask a better question:
Is this actually a timing problem—or is your book waiting for you to decide it's important enough to make time for?
In this live workshop, I'll help you figure out whether you're Not Yet, Discover, or Ready to Write—and what to do from there.
You'll leave knowing how to:
Use the Book Now Test to assess whether your book is ready for your attention
Separate “I don't have time” from the things that may actually be keeping you from moving forward
Use Story → Meaning → Method → Reader to start discovering what your book is really about
Determine whether you need to develop the idea first or start writing
See how a book can emerge from lived experience, expertise, or both
Learn from real examples—including Stephanie's journey writing Confident Introvert and women she's coached through very different book journeys
Identify one piece of dedicated action you can take toward your book now
You don't need a finished concept.
You don't need a manuscript.
And you don't need to know exactly how you'll publish it.
You do need to decide whether this is the season to begin.
Q&A — 11:00–11:30 AM ET
Stay for a 30-minute Q&A after the workshop to bring your specific book idea, timing question, or sticking point.
