Castanyada by Camp Brava
Our very first Sundays by Camp Brava is here! 🤎 And what better way to kick things off than by celebrating one of Catalonia’s most beloved traditions?
Plot twist: it’s not Halloween. 🍂
Castanyada is a traditional Catalan autumn celebration, usually held around October 31st and All Saints’ Day. Instead of pumpkins and trick-or-treating, think freshly roasted chestnuts, sweet panellets (little almond-based pastries), and gathering around good food and good company. A tradition rooted in remembering loved ones that has evolved into a much-loved celebration of autumn, local culture and togetherness.
And we thought it was the perfect excuse to bring our first Sunday together to life.
We’ll stroll along Passeig de Sant Joan, pick up some traditional panellets to share, and finish with tapas at Bar Bauma. A little Catalan culture, a little Barcelona exploring, and a chance to meet new girls and make this city feel a little more like home.
Because the best way to discover a place is to experience its traditions — together. ✨
