About Event

Coming off BuildFest energy? Got an idea from the weekend and want to find out if there's a "there there"? This is where you find out.

Join us for an evening of networking and the first Industry Problem Drop of the semester — real problems submitted by industry partners, ready for teams to pick up and run with.

Whether you're carrying momentum from a BuildFest project or grabbing a problem straight from industry, this is the on-ramp into the Four-Week Sprint, launching October 1.

About the Four Week Sprint

This sprint gives extra structure and support to students building ideas across the Tech Exploration Lab. Over four weeks, participants:

Define and sharpen their problem
Test key assumptions
Build or refine a lightweight concept
Prepare a 2–3 minute demo and learn strong presentation skills

The goal: get kickstarted now so you're fully ready for Demo Night in November.

Drop in, meet other builders, hear the industry problems on the table, and decide if the sprint is your next four weeks.
