Mannheim SCetch Camp: Acrylic on Textile — Make your own Tote Bag

​In this SCetch Camp session, we’ll turn a simple tote bag into something personal, handmade, and completely yours.

​We’ll work with acrylic paint on textile and explore how to create a design that works well on fabric. You can make something playful, minimal, bold, cute, abstract, or completely chaotic. The main goal is to experiment and create a tote bag you’ll actually want to use.

​We’ll talk about composition, colour choices, simple motifs, and how to make your design readable on fabric. Then everyone will create their own painted tote bag.

​You’ll learn:

• ​how to paint on textile with acrylic paint

• ​how to plan a simple design for a tote bag

• ​how to use colour and contrast on fabric

• ​how to make your artwork practical and wearable

​No previous experience is needed. This session is beginner-friendly and made for trying things out without pressure.

​Materials are provided, including the tote bag. You are also welcome to bring your own ideas, sketches, or inspiration pictures.
