Culture is Capital
September 10, 2026 · 6:00 to 9:30 pm · Hogan Lovells Cadwalader, 390 Madison Ave
Every year, Mexico Investment Week gathers the best of Mexico's financial talent in New York. This year, one idea runs through it: culture is capital.
In a world where power is mostly defined by money, strength, and control, there is also subtle leadership. Mexico grows, inspires, attracts and connects with the world through vibrant human energy, culture, and creativity. This is Poder Suave. Soft Power in Spanish.
For one evening, we bring that energy to Midtown Manhattan. A conversation on culture as one of Mexico's most valuable assets, with Ambassador Roberto Lazzeri, Michael Schwandt of JP Morgan, and Rene Arce of Hogan Lovells Cadwalader, who will talk about how Mexico’s culture influence attracts finance, business and human interactions that create value for the world. This will be followed by a cultural live session rendered by Denise Gutierrez, Sant Casillas and Gil Cerezo, and Jumbo, produced by Clemente Castillo of Jumbo and a gastronomical show provided by Benell and Cuerno NYC.
A cultural energy that travels through people, for the world to be a better place.
Life, soft-powered by Mexico. This is Poder Suave.
