Reading Rhythms Los Angeles + Free Book: Sense and Sensibility (Movie Tie-In Special)

We're celebrating the release of Sense and Sensibility, in theaters October 16, with a reading party built around friendship, the old friends who already know your heart and the new ones you're about to meet.

From Focus Features and Working Title comes an irresistible new take on Jane Austen's iconic Sense and Sensibility: a charming, witty, and deeply relatable story of love and sisterhood starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles.

Here's what to expect:

• Settle in and read your new copy of Sense and Sensibility (or bring whatever else you're currently reading)

• Pause for an exclusive sneak peek at the film itself, a special movie clip just for our readers

• Write "Letters to a Friend," a short writing prompt and paired discussion

• Enjoy a themed drink INCLUDED with your ticket purchase

• Close out the night with bookish conversations

We'll have 50 copies of the special movie tie-in book to give away!

We invite you to bring your book bestie! This event can be fun for a pair! Grab the Book Bestie ticket and bring your sister or your best friend with you. It's $70 for the pair, that's a nice discount for buying together.

Come spend the evening with us, page in hand and good company all around. Grab your ticket and save your seat.

Reading Rhythms is a series of welcoming reading parties designed to make it easy for people to gather and read socially. We invite you to bring any book you want and facilitate silent reading periods, as well as 1-on-1 breakouts, and group discussions to pull on the threads of the books that everyone is engaging with.

In a world that can often feel devoid of interest and meaningful connection, we bring readers together to reconnect with our love of learning, to experience the wonder of beautiful venues and curated music, and to gather amongst all of the people who want to be in that very same room.
