​December: Monthly LS meetup

​The monthly meetup follows our established pattern where open conversation spawns real action:

• ​Founder Intro:
  Learn about the history, AI experience and expectations for the future from one of our original founders from the Simon's supper table.

• ​Global objective:
  Updates and future plans for our global objective - projecting BC's AI Life Sciences capability onto the world stage alongside Boston and San Fran, Cambridge UK, Zurich and Shanghai. Our first initiative, the Wild Salmon Returning Entrepreneurs program, gains momentum.

• ​Local objective:
  Updates regarding our emerging applications of AI to help address local healthcare issues, right here in BC. We have made a long term commitment to help address mental health and addiction in and around Vancouver's downtown East Side (DTES), and ...

• ​Serendipitous connections:
  Our network includes a multitude of complementary stakeholders - from investors to patient groups, biotech researchers to legal and regulatory folks, from doctors to academic researchers, sub-sector experts, sceptics and the just plain interested. As an attendee, it is your job to find those connections that you can help.

​How the evening moves

• ​6:00 PM: Doors open and the table starts forming.

• ​6:30 PM: Simon Haworth and Kris Krüg set the frame.

• ​6:45 PM: Supper, field notes, and grounded examples from the room.

• ​7:15 PM: Guided discussion on support, unsafe automation, consent, escalation, and trust.

• ​8:30 PM: Formal close. The conversation keeps flowing as long as the wine keep up.
