About the panelists:

Meryl J Koh is a litigator and a Director in the Intellectual Property (IP) and Dispute Resolution Departments of Drew & Napier LLC, one of the big four law firms in Singapore. Meryl’s distinctive competency in both commercial disputes and IP leads her to act in many complex cross border litigation and arbitrations. Many of her clients come from the media & entertainment, technology, video games, sports, F&B and pharmaceutical industries. Meryl is dual-qualified in Singapore and Australia. Lauded as a “polished litigator” and an “excellent strategist”, clients described Meryl as a “sharp and appropriately aggressive lawyer whom you will want on your side.” Meryl has earned numerous accolades, including being named one of the region’s leading disputes lawyers in Asian Legal Business’s Asia Super 50 Disputes Lawyers list, with one client highlighting Meryl as “someone who understands the modern technologically focused world better and “ticks all those boxes for us.”  She was also recognised among the Top 250 Women in IP 2025 by Managing Intellectual Property. She is also an Expert Panellist for the WIPO Fast-Track IP Dispute Resolution Procedure for Consumer Fairs and a fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.

Vikram Jeet Singh is a partner in BTG Advaya's New Delhi offices, heading their Tech, Media, and Communications practice group. Vikram has more than 20 years of experience in advising Indian and overseas clients on complex issues relating to digital business, IP, online gaming, data privacy, platform liability, and digital marketing laws. Vikram’s areas of expertise include advising on data protection and privacy regulations, intellectual property protections in the digital space, online gaming, digital content, and online advertising matters. As part of his online video games practice, Vikram has advised major games studios, developers, and sellers in connection with online sales and marketing, protecting their IP rights, data privacy and content laws, and contracting issues.

Julia van der Ven is an Associate Program Officer at the Business Development and Digital Content Disputes Section of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). She obtained her law degree from the University of Leiden, and pursued further studies in Information Law, earning an LL.M. from the University of Amsterdam. Complementing her legal expertise, she has developed additional skills in Data Analysis, Applied Physics, and Business Intelligence, to support her work at the intersection of law and technology. Her work at WIPO focuses on supporting the development of ADR case management and filing tools, and assisting WIPO Member States in implementing IP-related dispute resolution systems, particularly in the area of copyright and digital content. She’s been an enthusiastic gamer ever since picking-up the Wind Waker, captivated by its memorable characters.
