About the Speakers:
Josh Weisberg
Josh Weisberg is the Senior Vice President of AI at Zillow and is responsible for leading and overseeing artificial intelligence initiatives and strategies. He joined Zillow in 2018 where he held the role of VP of Rich Media Experiences, specializing in 3D and Computer Vision.
Josh’s expertise in artificial intelligence and computer vision technology helped to drive the development of Zillow's own proprietary 3D touring platform with interactive floorplans. Under his leadership the team continues to use artificial intelligence and computer vision technology to continue to build products for the digital home shopper.
Before joining Zillow, Josh, who has 27 years of experience in the digital imaging technology space, held leadership roles at both Microsoft and Apple.
Josh earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of San Francisco. In addition to his tech roles, Josh is an accomplished photographer who captures professional and collegiate sports, as well as lifestyle images for clients like the Seattle Seahawks and Sports Illustrated.
Dr. Mashhour Solh
Dr. Mashhour Solh is a Sr. Staff Technical Lead/Manager at Waymo where he heads the ML for the mapping team. Prior to Waymo, he served in several roles as a Principal and Chief Applied Scientist specializing in large-scale applied AI, agentic systems, and multimodal perception. He led the development of a multi-agent system behind the "Buy for Me" capability, enabling autonomous task completion, and has led teams developing advanced retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methods and LLM-based evaluation frameworks for production AI systems.
Previously, Dr. Solh served as Chief AI Scientist for the Camera and Sensors team at Amazon Lab126. In this role, he pioneered OmniSense, a multimodal sensor-fusion framework combining vision, audio, and multiple other sensors, announced in 2025 as a hero feature across Echo devices. Earlier contributions include developing Amazon’s first in-house human and face detection models (2014–2017) and leading the full computer vision pipeline for Amazon’s first security camera, Cloud Cam.
Beyond industry, Dr. Solh has a strong academic background. He holds a PhD in electrical and computer engineering and has taught deep learning at the university level. He is also a startup founder and technical leader, having co-founded Fitlens as CTO and served as a founding member and Head of Computer Vision and Sensor Fusion at Plato Systems. A prolific inventor, he holds 37 patents and has received honors including the Franklin Antonio Award from Qualcomm and Georgia Tech’s Research Assistant Excellence Award.
