Catalyst: Revolutionizing Healthcare with AI and Informatics
Join us on September 29th at Catalyst!
Revolutionizing Healthcare with AI and Informatics
Delivering Digital Solutions that Drive Better Patient and Customer Outcomes
Healthcare leaders in both public and private settings are under pressure to craft and implement an AI vision, a digital roadmap, and to articulate a greater vision to the board, all while maintaining patient or customer data safety and integrity.
Join fellow digital health leaders at the quarterly Catalyst Digital Health Event, where you will hear boots-on-the-ground perspectives on how AI and informatics are dramatically changing how clinicians, healthcare providers, and the organizations that serve them, are working.
Keynote speaker Dr. Armando Bedoya and his team at Duke Health and Duke University School of Medicine created the data backbone behind Duke’s operational KPIs and how digital and AI tools get deployed into clinical workflows safely. He was key to the development of Duke's Algorithm-Based Clinical Decision Support governance framework, an earlier initiative to govern health AI in a large academic system.
As Chief Data and Analytics Officer, he oversees the predictive models and AI-enabled clinical decision support tools used across the health system.
An Associate Professor of Medicine and Biostatistics & Bioinformatics at Duke University School of Medicine, Dr. Bedoya splits his time between the ICU and the data behind it. He’s bringing that dual perspective to Catalyst, speaking to his experience both building the model and using it with real patients.
