Panel Description

Physical climate risk is no longer a distant scenario — it is already influencing asset values, underwriting assumptions, insurance availability and investment returns. The gap between firms that have operationalized climate risk and those that have not is widening, with material financial consequences.

This panel brings together leading voices from real estate, infrastructure and insurance to explore how forward looking climate data is being embedded into real world investment deal flows and risk decisions. Panelists will discuss how climate hazard modelling is moving beyond risk identification to influence deal screening, valuation, portfolio construction, insurance strategy, asset level resilience planning and community continuity.

Drawing on practical experience across real asset sectors, the discussion will focus on how firms are translating increasingly granular climate analytics into actionable decision making — while navigating uncertainty, insurance constraints, and the trade offs between protection, performance and return.
