Who pays for the climate crisis, and who gets heard?

Climate change doesn't hit everyone equally. The people who contributed least often face the worst impacts, from heat and floods to lost livelihoods, and they have the least say in the decisions. That's what climate justice is about, and it's a question that reaches all the way to Munich.

This Climate Café looks at how climate justice plays out in health, in law, and in everyday life, and what it takes to turn fairness into action. Three speakers will bring three angles: research and planetary health, lived experience, and legal accountability.

Join us for short talks, open discussion, and a drink after work. No prior knowledge needed.

About the Climate Café

The Climate Café is a monthly community panel by the Global Shapers Munich, the Munich hub of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community. Each edition brings experts from science, business, and civil society together with young professionals to discuss climate challenges and how to create impact, locally and globally. It’s an open, welcoming space to share ideas and take concrete steps together. Everyone interested is welcome.
