From Forest to Frame: An All Things Urban Berlin Group Visit
A special All Things Urban gathering around an afternoon on biobased construction, with group intros, a private tour, and time to explore together.
This is a special gathering we're organizing around From Forest to Frame, an afternoon on biobased construction hosted by Built by Nature Germany, Bauhaus Earth, dRMM Studio, and PEFC at the newly transformed Neues Schleiermacherhaus.
The program covers how biobased building can enable climate-neutral growth in Germany, with keynotes from leading voices in timber construction, the premiere of Our Future: Built by Nature (2025, narrated by Kevin McCloud), and a reception in the building itself.

✨Exclusive Site Visit Tour for All Things Urban
dRMM Studio has kindly offered our All Things Urban Berlin network an exclusive private tour of the Schleiermacherhaus before the official program starts. Tonia Tkachenko, dRMM's Berlin studio lead, will personally guide us through the building, so we get to experience the architecture and materials story up close before the public event begins.
How the day will work for our group:
☕ 12:15 — Pre-meet at a nearby cafe (3 min away from the venue)
We'll grab a coffee, do a round of intros, and get to know each other before the tour. The cafe address will be shared with you after you register.
🏛️ 13:15 — Private tour at the venue
We walk over from the cafe together and meet Tonia in front of the building for our 30-minute tour. If you can't make the cafe meet, you're welcome to join us directly at the venue at 13:15. Please be on time, we start sharp.
✨ 14:00 onwards — Main event begins
Reception, keynotes, film screening, and drinks. We'll explore the afternoon together.
Seats for our private tour are limited. Please only register if you're confident you can attend, so we can accommodate everyone who wants to join. If your plans change, let us know as soon as possible so we can release your spot to someone on the waitlist. 🙏

Both are free. Spots are limited at the main event, so register on Eventbrite as soon as you can.
