ββββββββββββββββWe meet every week to create whatever it is that makes us feel alive :)
ββββCome and work on what you've been itching to pursue, or ship out that project you've been postponing. Demo, receive feedback, find inspiration in new friends and explore your curiosities!
βββββββββββββββWhether it's coding an app, writing a blog, making films, designing graphics, composing music, or developing games β big idea or a small passion, this space is for your creativity to thrive
βββββββββββββββββPlease DON'T work on your main thing (school) - if you don't know what to work on, I'm sure we can help you find something.
βββββIf you want to be a good samaritan, please bring a snack to share! It will make us all very happy :)

ββββββββββββββββ"But what if I don't have an idea?"
ββββββββββββββββYou don't have to come with an idea. We can help you brainstorm, or you can find a friend who shares passion in the same space here! We only ask that you come in with an open mind and a willingness to try :)
ββThank you to the Hatchery for making this event possible!
ββThe Entrepreneurship Hatchery is one of U of Tβs leading startup incubators where students, faculty, and alumni come together to tackle meaningful problems, build teams, and turn ideas into ventures. Their programs support entrepreneurs at every stage β from forming teams, to defining their business, to securing seed funding and follow-on investment.
ββOne of the best ways to get started is through their Idea Market series β a networking event for students who either have a startup idea and need cofounders, or want to join a startup but donβt yet have an idea. Itβs where the U of T community connects with like-minded individuals and shares problems worth solving.
If youβre curious about entrepreneurship or ready to dive in, join their next Idea Market event here!
Meraki at UofT is committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive community.

ββββββββββββββββFrom greek, meraki means the 'essence of yourself,' encapsulating passion and devotion in one's work and actions. Meraki embodies the idea of leaving a piece of your soul, creativity, and love in everything you do.
