About Event

What is a technodemocracy? What might it look like? What are the ways we could shape one here at NS?

This is a call to action for those who want to be involved with a grassroots proposal for a "Minimum Viable Republic" (MVR) for The Network School!

What is an MVR? It combines ancient Roman principles of a republic with modern tech enablement:

  • On-chain identity;

  • Consensus-building;

  • Budget allocations;

  • Contribution & Recognition

It's not a DAO, it's not a direct democracy, it's a Republic 2.0!

Why should you get involved?

  • Be a part of an on-chain and IRL governance experiment;

  • (Hopefully) level-up the NS experience for everyone;

  • Eat your own dog food (live what you build!)

Who should get involved? Devs, policy nerds, community organizers, designers, and anyone who wants to level-up NS!

This is part briefing, part team recruiting, part jam session.
