About Event

Have an idea for a better planet? Or want to help others bring theirs to life?

Join Professor Becky Parker, MBE, physics teacher and Director of Project Earth, to explore Pitch for the Planet, an initiative that brings students together to share their ideas, build communication skills, and put their solutions in front of an audience.

You don’t need to wait for an official event to make it happen. In this practical session, Becky will share how to organise a pitching event of your own, from creating opportunities to present ideas to bringing in an audience that can offer feedback and encouragement.

You’ll also explore what makes a great pitch and how to communicate clearly, engage an audience, and build the confidence to take ideas further. Leave with practical tips you can use whether you’re preparing to pitch an idea or looking to host a session in your classroom, school, or community.
