About Event

Join us to celebrate the grand opening of a new Ethereum Community Hub in Lagos, launched by Ethereum Everywhere (an Ethereum Foundation team) and hosted at Web3Bridge! 🎉

This marks not only the start of a permanent home for the Lagos Ethereum ecosystem, but also a launch of monthly Ethereum community Lagos Meetup in the city. We’re kicking things off with fun talks, conversations, and plenty of community vibes

The Ethereum Community Hub Lagos will be a space where builders, researchers, creators, artists, and curious minds can co-work, connect, collaborate, and unite. A place for workshops, events, and experimentation. A home for the community to grow together.

About Ethereum Community Hubs

Community Hubs are permanent, inclusive, and self-sustaining spaces designed to strengthen local Ethereum ecosystems. They bring together co-working, meetups, and workshops while serving as innovation anchors that inspire collaboration, strengthen communities, launch new projects, and connect them with the global Ethereum ecosystem. With support from the Ethereum Everywhere team, each hub becomes both a thriving home for local communities and a bridge to the wider Ethereum ecosystem.

About Web3Bridge

Web3Bridge is a developer training program founded in 2019 as 500NigeriaDevs4Eth, inspired by Joseph Lubin’s 1M Ethereum Developers initiative and a tweet by Ebunayo highlighting the potential of African youth in global tech. What started as a pilot has grown into a continental movement, onboarding over 4,000 Africans into Web3 through a token-gated system that ensures hands-on wallet usage. To date, more than 2,500 developers have been trained, with 305 successfully graduating after passing rigorous eviction tests.

About Guild Audits

Guild Academy is the hands-on training arm of Guild Audits, delivering cohort-based bootcamps that turn Web2 developers and security engineers into full-stack Web3 security practitioners. The program combines smart-contract auditing, web/app penetration testing, infrastructure hardening, and protocol research with real audit assignments and mentorship producing graduates ready to contribute to live audits and secure decentralised products.
