Of Minus One and Moonshots
This isn't your grandpa's meet-up.
We’re gathering ambitious young founders, technologists, and researchers to explore the frontier of what’s possible. After an introduction to SPC’s approach to idea discovery, the spotlight shifts to you. From hundreds of Luma applications, we will choose 10 to 12 builders — who get to pitch their moonshot live to SPC's General Partner and Co-Founder, Aditya Agarwal — in 3 mins flat. No fluff, just conviction, followed by feedback focused on how to think, not what to build. Come prepared, come hungry, and maybe leave with the spark that changes your trajectory.
Submit your ideas on Luma while registering. Send in a link to one slide, a two-liner about what your idea is, or the link to what you're building.
Some of the Areas of Curiosity in which we would love to see submissions, are below. And if you have something totally wild that we have not imagined — here for it!
AI & The Future of Attention
How do we move beyond doomscrolling to create AI-native platforms that truly captivate and enrich our lives?
Entertainment & Storytelling
What does entertainment look like when it's born from AI, not just touched by it? Pitch an entirely new way to tell a story or create an immersive world using AI as the foundation.
We've seen AI characters, but how will we build and maintain meaningful, long-term relationships with them?
Software & Tooling
Stop thinking of AI as a feature. How do you build an entire software application around AI, treating the model as the core primitive?
What new foundational tools will unlock the next wave of progress with AI, moving beyond the current "code generation" model?
Hard Tech & National Security
How can India leverage its unique geopolitical and environmental context to build world-class, "made-in-India" hard tech for defense and critical infrastructure?
Pitch a moonshot idea for India's energy future or private space industry. What bold, indigenous innovation is needed to truly leapfrog existing technology?
Event Timings
4:30 PM - 5:45 PM: A talk from Aditya on SPC’s 'Minus One' philosophy, followed by Q&A.
5:45 PM - 6:00 PM: Brief intermission to reset the room, grab a drink/snack.
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: We shift gears into a 'SharkTank-style' forum. We will pre-select the most ambitious young builders from all your Luma applications, and the chosen will be called out on the day, and have to pitch their moonshot to Aditya in 3 minutes tops (we will have buzzers!)
