SCetchCamp: Acrylic on Fabric
For updates: link for the WhatsApp group
In this SCetch Camp session, we’ll explore the colorful world of textile painting using acrylic paints. Instead of working on paper or canvas, we’ll create artwork on fabric and transform everyday objects into unique, personal pieces.
Our academic focus will be adapting illustrations and designs for textile surfaces. We’ll learn how to simplify ideas, work with fabric textures, and create designs that remain clear, expressive, and visually appealing on bags, pouches, patches, or other textile items.
We’ll create a finished personalized piece that participants can take home and use in their daily lives.
This workshop is not about perfection. It is about creativity, experimentation, and giving ordinary objects a personal artistic touch. Whether you prefer botanical illustrations, animals, patterns, fantasy motifs, or abstract designs, you are welcome to make the project your own.
No previous experience is needed. We are here to explore, try things out, and learn together in a soft, creative, cozy atmosphere. Materials are provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own textile item if you would like to customize it.
You’ll learn: How to paint on fabric, how to adapt artwork for textile surfaces, and how to create a unique handmade item that combines art and everyday life.
