Showcase: Design for Startups Fall 2025 | DEC 11
Please join us for a formal showcase of work completed by Emily Carr designers in the Design for Startups program. Each designer will give a five-minute presentation summarizing their 12-week collaboration with the participating Canadian companies.

Design for Startups pairs emerging designers with early to mid-stage startups to work on a specific design problem. Between September and December 2025, eight designers took part in Design for Startups, working directly with the technical and business leads of eight Canadian startups. Supported by Shumka Centre faculty and advisors, the designers conducted design research to help each company create, analyze, or improve its digital products, services, or platforms.
