About Event

Many of us rely on a variety of spiritual practices to get through hard seasons. And spirituality can mean different things to different people: prayer, meditation, mindfulness, music, time in nature, community, a sense of purpose... But it can also feel confusing to know where spirituality ends and mental health begins, and how to use both in a way that supports you.

In this interactive workshop, we’ll:

  • Explore the intersection of spirituality and mental health in a grounded, practical way

  • Clarify what is meant by “spirituality” and “mental health,”

  • Look at real-life examples of how spiritual practices can reduce stress, soothe anxiety, and build resilience.

  • Gut check where spirituality can create guilt, pressure, or avoidance

You’ll be guided through reflective prompts and discussion questions to help you understand your own spiritual coping patterns and discern what truly helps you regulate and what might unintentionally keep you stuck. And, you’ll have a chance to connect and reflect with others asking similar questions. You’ll leave with a clearer framework for integrating spirituality into your mental health toolkit; one that honors your values, your culture, and your emotional reality.

This workshop is for anyone who wants a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore healing, meaning, and emotional well-being, whether you consider yourself deeply spiritual, loosely spiritual, or simply curious.

This event is 90 minutes long, with cameras on. Participants are encouraged to introduce themselves (first names only), and share as they feel comfortable.
