Why climate solutions fail without women and girls
We measure climate change in tons, dollars and degrees — but rarely by who bears its greatest burdens. Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT), Ipas, One Acre Fund and Jan Sahas are putting women and girls at the heart of climate solutions: from mapping overlooked communities and making invisible risks visible, to safeguarding reproductive health, building climate-resilient farms and protecting informal workers. Together, they’re showing how women and girls are turning climate challenges into blueprints for action.
HOT, Ipas, One Acre Fund and Jan Sahas are grantees of The Audacious Project, TED’s collaborative funding platform to inspire and fund global change.
