​BLOK PARTI is coming to Ace Hotel New York on September 10. Spend an evening in the Boardroom, learning the art form of wood block printing and print a ruffle bag and cotton paper prints to take home.

Wood block printing is a traditional technique where hand-carved wooden blocks are pressed into ink to build repeat patterns.

During this workshop you’ll choose from our signature hand-carved wooden blocks, pick your color palette, and print onto a cotton canvas ruffle bag, stitched by hand from our studio. A chance to slow down and make something by hand with others

We'll guide you through every step, from your first stamp to a finished piece.

​Amy and Caroline lead BLOK PARTI, the workshop and kit arm of JOYN; a Fair Trade certified brand that has made hand block-printed canvas bags from a small studio in the foothills of the Himalayas since 2010.
