Scavenger Hunt at the American Museum Of Natural History
Get ready for a scavenger hunt through the American Museum of Natural History! This scavenger hunt blends trivia, storytelling, and creative challenges as we explore iconic exhibits, from dinosaurs and meteorites to big cats and ocean creatures. We’ll work in groups of 3-5. It’s a great way to make new friends and get to know the museum at the same time!
Please note that this is not a guided tour; scavenger hunt materials will be provided and a winning group will be announced at the conclusion of the event. Please note that museum tickets are not included with admission and refunds are not provided.
Tickets:
Buy in advance at AMNH Tickets for the 11:30AM slot.
NYC residents: Admission is pay-as-you-wish!
Non-NYC residents: No worries - we’ll grab you a NYC-based buddy to cover it. Just let Brianna, your host, know!
FAQ:
Q. Can I come alone?
A. Yes! This event is very welcoming toward both individuals and small groups. In recent scavenger hunts I’ve done, about 70% of people came without knowing anyone else (and many left with new friends!).
-
Q. How are groups assigned?
A. At random! However, if you’d like to be in a group with your party, that’s fine - just let Brianna (the event host) know once you arrive!
-
Q. Where do I meet the group?
A. At the Hall of Asian Mammals, just past where you enter the museum with your ticket. I’ll send out identifying information beforehand so you know exactly how to find us!
-
Q. How long does the event last?
A. About two hours! We leave time at the end to announce the winning groups and wrap up any final details.
-
Q. My plans changed - how do I cancel?
A. Unfortunately at this time, we’re unable to provide refunds.
