BuildHer x Lovable SheBuilds: From Idea to MVP in a Weekend
Got an idea you can’t stop thinking about, but no technical co-founder, product team, or clear place to start?
SheBuilds is a full-day buildathon for women and non-binary founders ready to turn a real problem into working software with Lovable.
In one day, you’ll go from idea to live product: define the problem, build a functional MVP, publish it, and share it with the room. Expect practical guidance, focused build time, mentor support, and a community of ambitious builders.
Come solo, bring a teammate, or meet collaborators on the day. Teams are optional.
What you’ll build
A realistic product concept you can ship quickly
A live prototype with a frontend and backend
Features like user accounts, saved data, AI, maps, email, or payments
A shareable live link to keep building after the event
Agenda
10:00–10:20 — Kick-off
Welcome, expectations, the day’s challenge, and a live Lovable walkthrough. We’ll show how an idea can become a working product with orders, user accounts, and AI features, then it’s time to build.
10:20–10:30 — Set up Lovable
Claim your Lovable credits and get ready to start.
10:30–10:45 — Form teams (optional)
Work solo or form a team of up to three. One person can create the project and invite collaborators to build together.
10:45–14:45 — Build your product
Dedicated build time to turn your idea into something real. Aim for a working product with features such as saved data, user accounts, integrations, payments, an admin view, or a live URL. Mentors will be on hand to support you.
14:45–15:00 — Publish and submit
Publish your project and submit your live link.
15:00–15:30 — Demo and feedback
Selected teams will present what they built, the problem it solves, and what surprised them along the way.
15:30–16:30 — Judging and awards
Projects will be recognised for:
Impact: solving a real problem
Creativity: an original approach
Execution: a working product, not just a front end
There will also be audience shout-outs for standout builds.
16:30–16:40 — Celebrate and share
Group photo, project sharing, and a moment to celebrate what the room has built.
16:40–18:00 — Networking
Connect with fellow founders, builders, mentors, and potential collaborators.
