TEAM BLUE OR TEAM GREEN?
For this special Climate Action Week parkrun we’re inviting participants to wear blue or green to represent the Earth we’re moving for.
Choose one, or wear both! Because caring for climate means caring for the whole Earth. We’ll start as two colours and finish as one community.
ON THE DAY
What to wear - In addition to sturdy footwear for running or walking, help us celebrate Climate Action Week by coming in blue or green, or adding a touch of colour to your usual running attire. Don’t forget to slip, slop, slap (put on sunscreen, wear a hat and slip on a shirt).
Arrival time - Please arrive early so you can connect with others and enjoy some climate-themed activities before we start. The briefing for new participants is at 7.30am. We encourage participants to arrive with plenty of time to spare for parking or walking to the gathering point. The event will start right on 8am. Location and parking - The gathering point is outside 18 Wally’s Walk – about 400 metres from the West 5 car park. Free parking is provided to participants in the West 5 car park, on Gymnasium Road, off Culloden Road.
After the run - After parkrun, join us for a casual community catch-up and conversations about climate action on campus and beyond. Everyone is welcome.
